Hi guys,
this is my latest costume.I work during 5 long and hard months on Hilde.
Why Hilde? She is from far my favourite character from Soulcalibur! First, I was in love with her IV outfit, but when the soulcalibur V was released, I found this one particulary interesting.

As I won at Paris cosplay a sewing machine, I wanted to give a try to this version for use the gift and make other thing than full armor.
It was very interesting to sew, to dye fabric and fur, to create patterns myself.
I spend more time on the fabric parts than the armor itself.

I made myself the purple jacket with " matelassé" aspect.
All is hand made, the chain mail, the helmet with the removing part on the top, the eperons, the belts...I dye the wig too in order to have the good " red/auburn".

The flag was the hardest part with the little red skit and the helmet.

5 months ago, I meet Laura, who worked on Hilde too, we shared lot of things thank to Hilde ^^ I was really happy to find someone who made Hilde in the same time.
I finally meet Laura during Japan expo, and she was really kind and funny!

During the con the weather was very very hot, it was hard to wear Hilde's outfit, but I was at ease on stage ^^
I was however very very tired and my face show how I was close to faint è_è

I have really lot of good memories of Hilde, it was hard as hell, but I was happy of my work for this time.
Hilde is special for me ^^

Sexy, beautiful and strong … you are so unique and splendid as Hilde … a real knight princess.

I observe that you were very brave to walk on heels carrying those pieces of armor; every time I see you with that armor, I couldn't help thinking that you were sweating and exercising too much because of the armor's weight. I hope that your costume should not have made you feel uncomfortable while you were wearing it.

P.S. Can you actually run or fight wearing that costume?

Hi ^^ I read with attention your comments, it is just super kind! I adore Hilde and you describe the same ideas I feel about her! I wasn't really easy to act like her in this very hot suit, my moves were limited and the weather around 30°c so...I was very "red" in my helmet ^^' I can run and fight, not too much by fear of destroy my hard work but you can see under the picture description a link for my video.

The armor wasn't heavy because it is made in foam, it is really comfortable and soft.Just "hot", body can't breathe inside ^^'
