Gabranth was a dream.
I remember my first reaction when I played the game in 2007 " wooo amazing Gabranth!".
I always wanted to do this costume, but, it was lot of pain. It was near of 6 months of work about proportions, documentation, photos of helmet.
I constituate plans of armor, weapon and took many photos of the helmet during square enix stand in convention. After months of research, I bought foam in different size and I began.
I mixed the dissidia sword design and color of armor, I prefer this design compared to FF XII. But, I keep the helmet from FF XII. For the painting, It took two week on test, I wanted a " clair obscur" effect. On stage, the effects aren't enough visible. But on the photo, it seem good. The costume was made in two month of full work, it was my most ambitious costume. I was so tired during the con, I have not many photos.It's a full armor and, it was very difficult to wear and very hot. But, it was one of my most interesting dream. I was very surprise by people reaction. It was a moment of joy.I wanted to thank my friend because he help me a little for the helmet ( my horns were just a fail and hurt on the shoulder armors... the helmet took 2 weeks of work just for the assembly of pieces ;_
for the cape; It's painted in many tones of white, red and black.I wanted a little relief of painting. (Sorry for my bad english <<)

I've seen a lot of great cosplays, and that one's right up there with the Shiva Sisters for "how on EARTH did they do that?!"
I wanted to do shiva sisters but I don't have girl partner for such project.It is a nice challenge with the heels and mechanic parts on the heads
